Professional Biography
John Morrow is an accomplished executive with over 40 years of professional experience, specializing in business process optimization, product development, package artwork management, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance. This includes 8 years of advisory board experience and 5 years of consulting experience.
John is currently President of VinPeak Advisors, where he leverages his extensive expertise to provide strategic guidance and advisory services to clients in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) and Consumer Healthcare industries.
In his current role, John has achieved notable accomplishments, including a 50% reduction in global artwork cycle time for a major consumer healthcare client by analyzing their processes to help develop the improvement plan. Furthermore, he has served on multiple advisory boards, lending his insights and expertise to further enhance organizational strategies. John has also demonstrated his thought leadership through publications and public presentations, sharing his knowledge and expertise with industry professionals.
Previously, John was Worldwide Director of Global Artwork Operations at Colgate Palmolive, where he served from 2002 to 2018. During his tenure, he successfully developed and implemented process, software, and organizational improvements for global package artwork management and e-commerce, resulting in a two-thirds reduction in global artwork cycle times. Additionally, John played a key role in developing and implementing improved processes for global technology transfer for product and package innovations.
Before Colgate, John held leadership positions at Mead Johnson/Bristol-Myers Squibb as Senior Director of Global Quality Assurance and at Procter & Gamble as an Associate Director for Quality Assurance and Product Development.
At Mead Johnson, John developed and implemented a new artwork approval process in response to a major product recall caused by an infant formula labeling error.
At Procter & Gamble, he led the development and implementation of the "Global Quality Key Elements" in his Quality Assurance role, and spearheaded the product development program for the company's first two products introduced in China during his tenure as Asia/Pacific Product Development Manager.
John's expertise has been sought-after beyond his executive roles, as he has served on advisory boards for Esko and ManageArtworks, contributing to the strategic direction of these organizations. Furthermore, he has provided advisory consultations through GLG, Coleman Research, and GuidePoint, solidifying his reputation as a trusted advisor.
